Digital Design & Marketing Manager


Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Digital Design & Marketing Manager to join the marketing team, reporting
to the Director of Sales. The Associate Digital Designer will be a powerful digital producer who can
create engaging designs and layouts that reinforce our brand visual language to support national
marketing, business needs and brand-building initiatives, inclusive of ecommerce, digital marketing,
social media marketing, campaign execution support, interactive experiences, and more. The ideal
candidate will be able to create innovative, compelling design solutions that balance art, education,
and commerce, as well as be a creative thinker, passionate designer, skilled and open collaborator,
and an artist at heart.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • 35% - Concept, design and develop compelling assets for national marketing, business needs and brand-building initiatives, including emails, animations, landing pages, look books, promotional assets, image cropping/resizing, video editing, and posts and stories for social platforms
  • 30% - Serve as primary facilitator of digital marketing campaigns. Research, identify, and implement paid media advertising
  • 5% - Travel to, facilitate, and conduct creative photoshoots for E-commerce and social media campaigns
  • 10% - Create innovative user experiences based on an understanding of customer needs and brand guidelines
  • 5% - Communicate original concepts through sketches, visual comps, and interactive prototypes
  • 5% - Research trends in art and digital design within the sports and knowledge industry; present ideas and concepts for application of of-the-moment digital innovation
  • 10% - Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams to execute content strategy plans in a manner that is on time and on brand
  • Meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Work remotely and travel occasionally
Job Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BA or BS from accredited institution in a Design related major
  • 2-3 years relevant working experience
  • Demonstrated layout/design ability
  • Expert level Adobe Creative Suite knowledge (Specifically Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and Illustrator)
  • Experience with Product Photography
  • Photo and video editing skills
  • Experience with paid media advertising, confidence in researching, identifying, and running digital ads and marketing campaigns
  • Experience with email marketing or email automation platforms
  • Experience with Shopify or CMS platforms preferred
  • Excellent sense of aesthetic design and a strong eye for detail
  • Understand trend patterns and brand identity on social media
  • Knowledge of current web development best practices and web production techniques preferred
  • Strong understanding and experience with digital retouching and image production
  • Basic CSS and HTML skills preferred
  • Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a project from concept to completion, with attention to detail
  • Team player with a passion for growth and success
