About the Role
A Fast Growing Landscaping Company is seeking a driven and experienced Operations
Manager to lead our maintenance, lawn care, enhancement, and snow teams. This is a high-
impact leadership role focused on delivering exceptional client service, maximizing crew
efficiency, and ensuring operational excellence across all seasons.
You will serve as the integrator of our business, owning both field execution and strategic
oversight to manage people, processes, and profitability to drive results.
Key Responsibilities
Field & Crew Operations
● Oversee daily operations across maintenance, lawncare, enhancements, and snow
services.
● Lead daily dispatch, job scheduling, routing, and equipment logistics.
● Conduct weekly site audits and ensure job quality and safety compliance.
● Manage and coach crew leaders, field staff, and seasonal snow personnel.
Team Leadership & Accountability
● Train and support Account Managers, Estimators, and Crew Leaders.
● Lead weekly team meetings with scorecard and KPI reviews.
● Set and uphold high standards for communication, quality, and safety.
● Foster a culture of ownership, performance, and continuous improvement.
System Building & Efficiency
● Build and enforce SOPs, production scorecards, and job costing systems.
● Monitor labor productivity and ensure jobs are delivered on time and on budget.
● Use Aspire software for scheduling, timesheet approvals, and estimating support.
● Optimize yard and shop operations, fleet management, and seasonal readiness.
Financial & Strategic Oversight
● Collaborate with the CFO on budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
● Track divisional gross margin performance and identify areas for improvement.
● Review job costing weekly to reduce slippage and recover missed margin.
● Help lead company-wide strategic planning and execution of quarterly Rocks.
Client Experience & Support
● Support the Account Manager on service delivery, upsells, and renewals.
● Help manage escalated client concerns and drive retention results.
● Maintain excellent communication between field crews and office staff.
Performance Metrics (KPIs)
● Gross Margin by Division (Maintenance, Fert, Enhancements, Snow)
● Budgeted vs. Actual Labor Hours
● Crew Efficiency / LER
● Job Quality Audit Scores
● Client Retention Rate
● Safety Incidents & Equipment Downtime
● Enhancement Revenue per Account
● Employee Retention (Field & Management)
What We’re Looking For
● 5+ years of experience in landscape/snow operations management
● Strong leadership and organizational skills
● Experience with Aspire or similar software (LMN, Boss LM, etc.)
● Hands-on, detail-oriented, and solution-driven mindset
● Strong grasp of job costing, gross margin control, and scheduling
● Willingness to work flexible hours based on seasonal demands
● Experience with EOS or Leanscaper framework preferred
Compensation & Benefits
