ROLE DESCRIPTION

Have you built and scaled HR programs and processes? Want to do it again in an engaged, team-oriented, dynamic, fun and passionate entrepreneurial environment? Apply your proactive, hands-on tactical HR leadership and leverage technology and analytics to make an impact on the organization and throughout the employee lifecycle.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be a central resource for all employees on any HR topics and questions

  • Translate overall business strategies and objectives into the appropriate HR initiatives

  • Design, implement, and manage multi-pronged programs to attract, develop and retain talent.

    • Form and manage relationships with external recruiting resources

    • Develop creative programs and relationships to maximize candidate funnel

    • Reduce average time to fill key positions so all critical roles are filled < 60 days

  • Manage and improve new hire orientation process reflecting a commitment to mastering VETROs core value proposition, company values and culture

  • Refine and drive employee performance development process; creating transparency across the organization and alignment with compensation philosophy

    • Ensure development initiatives for key and high potential employees

    • Align company and individual performance with employee compensation

    • Create compensation and leveling bands across organization

  • Coach, motivate, and provide counsel to optimize relationships between managers and employees and each of their peers.

    • Create management development programs

  • Create employee benefit program strategy and ensure offerings align with employee priorities and are competitive in the marketplace

  • Develop, implement and oversee HR policies and programs as needed

  • Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and compliance with Affirmative Action/EEO programs

  • Leverage technology to drive employee engagement, measure employee performance and employee satisfaction

VETRO Inc. is a SaaS based, fiber management platform; an enterprise software serving as the global system of record for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and telecommunications network owners and operators to manage the full lifecycle of their networks.
 

ABOUT YOU

  • 8+ years progressive Human Resources experience in a high growth, fast-paced environment (SaaS company experience is nice to have) at both early stage and at scale

  • BA/BS degree

  • Forward thinking; build for today with an eye toward future scale

  • Personal experience successfully scaling an organization and enhancing HR initiatives

  • Strong business partner to members of the leadership team by demonstrating the ability to motivate and influence others through effective communication, accountability and subject matter expertise

  • Transfer concepts, strategies and plans into action

  • Ability and desire to embrace change and act decisively

  • International experience is a plus

  • Embrace and adopt technology to optimize initiatives, deliverables and results (proficient with HRIS systems and Google suite)

  • HR Certifications: PHR or SPHR a plus
