As a full-time General Manager, you will be responsible for running the day-to-day operations at All Security Equipment. Working alongside the CEO, you will oversee all functions of the business, including Sales, Operations, IT, HR, Finance, and Logistics. We are looking for a progressive operator, people motivator, and leader who will drive efficiency across all functions. The ideal candidate will have substantial E-commerce/Operations/Sales experience, strong people management skills, and knowledge of new emerging technologies and software. This individual is required to be on-site 5 days a week in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Lead and develop sales team, including tracking KPIs and managing quote to order ratio.
Work with our IT/Technology team to obtain feedback on new features for Odoo.
Function as primary link between the ASE website and ERP system.
Assist with implementation of new technology tools/solutions, including management of Zoom.
Assist HR with employee management, including warehouse employees and salespeople.
Work with the web team to pioneer advertisement strategy and develop marketing videos.
Organize training with vendors, validate new suppliers, and introduce new products for ASE catalog.
Manage Chinese vendors, assist with wire transfers, and help dispute chargebacks.
Work with shipping and logistics to assess inventory turnover and improve time-to-ship metric.
Maintain Avalara taxes, AP payment processing, and respond to various audit inquiries.
Supervise AR team, analyze financials, and calculate commissions for the sales team.
Required Position Qualifications
5 + years of General Management experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Degree in Business/Marketing AND/OR equivalent industry experience
Superior computer skills, including experience with Zoom, ERP planning and CRM implementation.
Intrigued by new/emerging technology, and familiar with e-commerce lingo and trends.
Proven success managing and motivating a sales team, including KPI implementation and coaching.
Experience working with IT, Finance, Marketing, and Logistics to help achieve company goals.
Ability to analyze financials, maintain taxes, assist with wire transfers, and dispute chargebacks.
Ability to demonstrate strong organizational strategy, leadership, and a highly collaborative mindset.
