People Operations Manager/Sr. POps Business Partner

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven People Operations Business Partner to align our company’s POps initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs. As our People Operations Business Partner, you will provide vital support to the organization’s talent goals and business partnership in recruiting and developing our greatest asset- our employees, organizational development, culture, and employee happiness.   • Conducts weekly meetings with stakeholders and business units
  • Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the VP, People Operations to develop solutions, programs, and policies
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Manages compensation design, salary planning and career pathing
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention
  • Provides HR policy guidance, development, process, and interpretation
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
  • Participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • You've done this before—you have experience in a high-growth startup environment with constant change as your companion; 5+ years of experience working as a People Partner, HR Manager, HR Program Manager or similar role
  • Proven work experience as an HR business partner
  • Excellent people relationship management skills
  • Analytical and goal-oriented
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
  • Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
  • BS degree in Human Resources or related field
