Senior Product Manager of Risk Adjustment and Coding

Join the product development team of a high growth population health management company, specializing in data aggregation, analytics, and workflow software for value based care. Reporting to the VP of Product Development and joining a talented team of product experts, you will take full ownership over market analysis, research, design and development of coding, risk adjustment and health plan product offerings. This is a hands-on position designing and promoting the next wave of advanced healthcare analytics products with a great team of product managers and software engineers.


  • Oversee research and design of new product offerings related to coding, risk adjustment, and value-based care contract maximization
  • Design products in collaboration with the product management team and a vast network of advisors and industry experts
  • Coordinate with our engineering team and oversee effective development of product designs and requirements
  • Support sales and marketing in the growth and visibility of these new products in a fast-moving healthcare analytics market
  • Build meaningful relationships across the market to identify trends, opportunities and potential partners


  • Intimate knowledge of Medicare’s HCC risk adjustment mechanism and the associated coding and documentation requirements
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage and/or Medicare Shared Savings programs, specifically with premium adjustment and quality incentives
  • Experience working directly with chart audits, HRAs and RN coders for coding accuracy and care gaps on behalf of health plans and/or risk-bearing provider groups
  • Intimate knowledge of value-based-care contracts and experience using data to support program development and contract maximization
  • 10+ years healthcare experience
  • Customer/client interaction and management experience, with strong presence communicating complex concepts to customers and prospects
  • Project/product management skills including development and tracking of budget and seeing to on time delivery of complex products


  • Experience with commercial risk adjustment programs (in addition to Medicare) preferred
  • Background in mathematics, economics statistics or finance preferred
  • Product management experience a plus
