Luminoso is searching for a dedicated and enthusiastic Field Marketing professional to help drive significant business growth. As our Field Marketing Manager, you would work closely with the rest of the Marketing team, Sales, and Product Management to plan and execute the company’s events and lead generation strategy.


Luminoso’s leading natural language understanding software applies machine learning to analyze text-based data from any industry in real-time. Companies use the insights that Luminoso’s solutions uncover to streamline their contact center processes, monitor brand perception, and optimize the customer experience. Unstructured data can be natively analyzed in 13 languages, including Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and Arabic. Luminoso is privately held with headquarters in Cambridge, MA.


  • Partner with the Sales and Leadership teams to understand business requirements and think strategically about how to meet those goals using field marketing
  • Identify and prioritize relevant conferences, events, and speaker opportunities worldwide to build out a robust events calendar
  • Manage field events/conferences/programs (seminars, tradeshows, conferences, etc) from initial planning to final execution including contracts, logistics, developing promotional communications to drive attendance, on-site execution, and follow up/tracking
  • Identify and promote tactics/assets that are most impactful for acceleration of pipeline
  • Leverage email marketing and social media to raise awareness of and further promote our presence at various events
  • Accurately measure and report on pipeline, campaign effectiveness, and ROI
  • Align field marketing events with core demand generation programs to ensure generation of marketing qualified leads through integrated, multi-touch programs


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in field marketing or working directly with sales on marketing programs
  • Experience with marketing program management
  • Intermediate CRM and marketing automation experience. Specific experience with Salesforce and Marketo is a plus
  • Vendor management and negotiation experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing startup environment
